Hymns and Music

For a Service in Church

Not all churches will agree to have music other than the organ played during a service.

Permission from the minister will need to be sought if any other music is required.

If permitted we can provide a CD player, & cd for music if commercially available. (YouTube versions cannot be used)

Please Note: Music is provided by Obitus and some versions on YouTube are unable to be downloaded onto the Crematorium system as they have to be officially commercially released songs due to copyright laws.

For Local Crematorium Services

Any music that a family wishes to be played during a service can be played, but CD’s cannot be accepted. The crematorium has a resident organist, and a music library and as long as at least 48 hours’ notice is given, along with the title and composer/singer of the music it can be obtained. If your choice is not on their library, they can arrange for it to be added.

It is also possible with the crematorium music system for the service to be recorded on to a DVD. The service can also be broadcast on the internet, via a password controlled website. This can be an advantage if family/friends are away and unable to attend service in person. It can be viewed live or up to a week after service.
